Workshop to promote the Midwifery Council's strategic plan for 2021 - 2025

On January 5, 2022, the National Midwifery Council attended the workshop:

- Disseminating the Midwifery Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025

- Disseminating the Regulatory Framework for the Continuing Professional Development of the Midwifery Council (CPD)

- Election of the Preah Vihear Provincial Midwifery Council for the 3rd term

which was held at Meen Rasmey Chan Penh Vong 2 Restaurant, Preah Vihear Provincial Town. More than 60 midwives attended in person and more than 20 participated online. The following were invited to participate as chairpersons and guests of honor:

1- His Excellency Dr. Kong Lo, Director of the Preah Vihear Provincial Department of Health

2- Ms. Hem Navi

Chairperson of the National Midwifery Council

3- Ms. Yat Thida, Secretary General of the National Midwifery Council

4- Ms. Keat Khap, President of the Preah Vihear Provincial Council

5- Dr. Sum Singh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Health

6- Dr. Sok Veasna, Director of the Preah Vihear Provincial Referral Hospital

7- Dr. Yun Sophon Dara, President of the Tbeng Meanchey Executive District

8- Mr. Va Thala, Administration of the National Midwifery Council

Results: Ms. Chan Samphasa was elected as the President of the Preah Vihear Provincial Midwifery Council for the third term.
